Personal Data Processing Policy

2. Terms
The terms “personal data”, “processing”, “data subject”, “operator” and others are used as defined by Russian Federal Law No. 152-FZ of 27 July 2006 “On Personal Data”.
3. Principles
The operator processes personal data lawfully and fairly, for predefined and lawful purposes, not excessively relative to those purposes, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality of the data.
4. Subjects and data
We process data of visitors and registered users of the Site: name/username, email address, the content of enquiries and comments, and technical data (IP address, device and browser information, cookies).
5. Purposes
Registration and providing an account; saving favorites, publishing comments and ratings; handling enquiries via the feedback form; sending informational materials with consent; ensuring the Site's operation and security; statistics and analytics.
6. Legal bases
The data subject's consent; a contract to which the subject is a party (provision of the Site's services); the operator's legitimate interests and the requirements of the law of the Russian Federation.
7. Consent and withdrawal
By providing data through the Site's forms, the subject consents to its processing under this Policy. Consent may be withdrawn at any time by writing to hello@baikal-guide.ru; after withdrawal the operator stops processing unless otherwise provided by law.
8. Procedure, conditions and terms
Processing is carried out with and without automation tools. Data is stored no longer than required for the purposes or by law; once purposes are achieved or consent is withdrawn, data is deleted or anonymised.
9. Cross-border transfer
Cross-border data transfer is carried out only in compliance with 152-FZ. If hosting or services are located outside Russia, the operator ensures adequate protection of subjects' rights.
10. Subject's rights
The subject may obtain information about the processing of their data, request its clarification, blocking or destruction in case of incompleteness/inaccuracy or unlawful processing, withdraw consent, and appeal the operator's actions to Roskomnadzor or in court (Art. 14 of 152-FZ).
11. Protection measures
The operator takes legal, organisational and technical measures to protect personal data from unlawful access, alteration, copying, distribution and destruction, in accordance with Art. 18.1 and 19 of 152-FZ.
12. Final provisions
